Il y a à peu près 20 ans, un surveillant de mon bahut me prete 2 vinyles : The Cure “kiss me, kiss me, kiss me” et The The “Soul Mining”. Déflagration qui fait alors exploser mon univers musical peuplé alors de Scorpions et autres Maiden.
The The a toujours eu une place dans mon coeur et Matt Johnson fait définitivement parti des grands musiciens pop des 90’s. Je réécoute Dusk, paru en 92, l’ouverture du disque me fait toujours le meme effet. Substance.
