Picking up morel mushrooms | 7.07.05

hello everyone,

if you get your maps out and look half way up the alaskan border, on the canadian side, you will see the city of Dawson, in the Yukon.
i have hitched all the way up there to most incredible and quite unique place in the world. apart from this computer, everything else is in a gold rush time warp.

it was the most talked about town in the world at its time in the late 1890’s.

its all wooden, pioneer style buildings, nothing new and with nothing knocked down. the floors are all uneven and slowing moving. all clay roads and wooden board walks.

there is a sour toe. a whiskey shooter with a frost biten toe at the
bottom of it. no lie, and im having one.

gonna stay here for a short while to earn some hard cash morel mushroom picking. this tiny city has to be seen to believed.
